Since the silk floss filling is fitted to the comforter shell and not stuffed, we call our comforters “silk-fitted”.
Normally, silk threads are obtained by unraveling the cocoons of Mulberry silkworms to create single-strand spindles of silk for various uses. However, this process is replaced with another in which the cocoons are stretched multiple times using both proper instruments and with hands to eventually form a thin, flat layer of intertwined silk threads of specific dimensions. Tens or even hundreds of these layers of threads are then stacked on top of each other until the desired weight is achieved, resulting in the silk floss filling for our comforters. This filling is then enclosed within a cotton or silk shell and securely attached to prevent clumping or shifting, resulting in our exceptionally lightweight and breathable silk comforter.
